Kensington Leisure Centre

Kensington Leisure Centre is an excellent and spacious facility located in the North Kensington area of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, in London. The centre itself replaced an ageing leisure complex and provides up-to-date facilities that are tailored to the needs of the local community.

The design of the facility responds to the complex requirements of a restricted urban site, with sports and leisure accommodation arranged over three floors, around a central circulation hub. Areas of full-height glazing connect the spaces and allow easy wayfinding. This creates an open and accessible public face to the building, offering visitor's clear orientation with dynamic views into and through each space.

The fully accessible leisure centre incorporates a 25-metre, eight-lane swimming pool with a 250-seat capacity spectating gallery, a 20-metre teaching pool with the mobile floor, a leisure pool with water features, 2 squash courts, a 120-station gym, eight-court multi-use sports hall, three studios, including a dedicated group cycle studio, a Spa Experience offering a variety of express treatments including massages, facials, beauty therapies and beauty treatment, a Thermal Spa experience featuring an Aroma Steam Room, Sauna, Ice Fountain, Hydrotherapy Pool, Monsoon Shower and Relaxation Lounges, a Glam & Go Bar with exclusive hair styling and nail saloon, a bespoke soft play experience, a café, complimentary Wi-Fi.
